About The Position

We are seeking a full time dishwasher with morning availability and the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays. Our beautiful hotel is just steps from the Wisconsin State Capitol, State Street, and many other downtown attractions! Our dishwashers play a very important role in the kitchen by providing our guests and team members with dishes and silverware cleaned to the highest standard. Starting wage is $18 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing efficiently
Strong attention to detail, ensuring cleanliness and organization are maintained to the highest standards
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and periodically lift heavy objects
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues and taking direction well
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as kitchen operations demand
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to learn
Qualified applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots and pans, trays, and other items using using commercial dishwashing equipment
Clean and sanitize floors, equipment and other areas as assigned
Organize and stock clean dishes and kitchen supplies, ensuring they are readily available for the culinary team
Communicate effectively with team members
Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures, adhering to health code regulations
Follow established periodic cleaning schedules and procedures
Maintain organization in all areas by returning all utensils, supplies, and equipment to the appropriate areas before the end of the day.
Keep storage racks full and separate miscellaneous supplies.
Empty garbage cans and take garbage to outdoor bins
Break down boxes, crates, and removes debris
Uphold a positive and professional demeanor
