About The Position

As a Dishroom Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities include loading and emptying the dish machine, hand-washing pots, pans, cooking utensils, and equipment, and assisting the kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
• Capable of writing simple correspondence and responding to common inquiries or complaints.
• None required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Remove waste and dispose of it properly; empty and clean garbage receptacles.
• Clean serving carts and the dishroom, including sweeping, mopping, washing walls, floors, and floor mats.
• Stock all dishware and glassware after cleaning.
• Perform closing duties as per established standards.
• Adhere to MSDS standards, safety protocols, sanitation, infection control procedures, and HACCP guidelines.
• Communicate relevant information about customer and department needs to management and team members.
