About The Position

Linger is a restaurant offering a globally-inspired, street-food menu, drawing influence from makeshift kitchens and streetside nooks worldwide. The establishment is uniquely situated in the former Olinger mortuary, where its decor blends macabre historical elements with posh vintage details. It features a window-flanked space overlooking the Lower Highlands neighborhood and boasts one of Denver’s largest rooftop patios, complete with a 1975 GMC “Bar-V” and a repurposed food truck, establishing Linger as a signature destination for dining and gathering in Denver.

Requirements

• Can function in a high-volume kitchen w/ the ability to multitask, prioritize & manage time effectively
• Experience with and/or a willingness to explore a variety of cuisines, techniques, and styles of cooking is mandatory
• Committed to sustainable kitchen practices
• Mindset around learning and personal development
• Brings energy and a positive attitude
• Works well collaboratively and individually
• Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, high-integrity food handling and storage standards & procedures
• Physical stamina to stand & move throughout the duration of a shift
• Open availability including nights & weekends
• Must be able to lift over 20 lbs multiple times per shift
