The Dish Assembler I position at BSH Home Appliances Corporation involves performing assembly or sub-assembly operations on an assembly line for home appliances. Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly or sub-assembly operations on an assembly line while meeting time standards.
  • Maintain awareness of BSH safety guidelines and utilize required PPE.
  • Understand and participate in the 5S process.
  • Assemble a variety of home appliances or sub-assemblies to meet prescribed specifications.
  • Report any problems immediately to a Team Leader or Production Supervisor.
  • Meet or exceed time standards for the operation being performed.
  • Complete required paperwork such as quality checks for the operation.
  • Perform necessary material handling duties required by the operation.
  • Execute any necessary line/product changes in accordance with the BOM or preventative maintenance.
  • Communicate daily with fellow associates about operation and safety issues.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of assembly or similar manufacturing experience
  • Ability to learn 5S
  • Manufacturing background in a related departmental area
  • Ability to cross train
  • Effective communication skills with all associates
  • Basic knowledge of measurement instruments and machine control if required for the working area.
