This role leads continuous improvements, trains, mentors all associates within the Recs 130 department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years machining experience.
  • Expert in precision machining and tolerances below .0005.
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with G and M Code/CNC programming.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Machine operations of the Rec 130 Cell
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, setups, quality, and process issues by performing root cause analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Document and refine procedures and standard work instructions.
  • Able to lead a team of associates to execute improvement projects.
  • Achieve and maintain tolerances below .0005 independently.
  • Collaborate with quality and engineering to resolve quality issues.
  • Assist with machine repair and preventive maintenance.
  • Manage department autonomous maintenance schedule and adherence.
