About The Position

Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is California’s leading personal injury law firm, with over $2 billion recovered for our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented Discovery Clerk to support our litigation team with discovery processes, case management, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced legal environment. This is a full-time, onsite position at our Los Angeles office. Location: 11175 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025 Hourly Rate: $25-25

Requirements

1+ years of experience with discovery
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn case management systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with discovery tasks, including preparing and organizing documents with guidance from attorneys and paralegals
Help draft basic correspondence, such as meet and confer letters, using templates and attorney feedback
Track deadlines, schedule depositions, and maintain calendars for case-related activities
Organize and maintain case files, including tracking discovery requests and responses
Review documents to help identify key information for cases
Communicate with clients to gather missing or necessary information
Support attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day case needs
Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed by the department
