The Discover Analyst Program at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is a two-year rotational program designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the financial sector. This program is set to commence in January and June of 2025, and it aims to challenge and prepare individuals for robust careers within the Bank. Participants will engage in a variety of assignments that span quantitative analytics, logistics, and creative projects, allowing them to develop a well-rounded skill set. Throughout the program, analysts will utilize established methods and tools to perform moderately complex analyses of business and technology issues. They will work closely with clients and other resources to assess current capabilities, identify customer needs, and assist in recommending process improvements. Analysts will also gather, analyze, and compile information from end-users and stakeholders to ensure that processes, software, and applications meet business requirements. In addition to specific business area tasks, participants will receive targeted leadership training, mentorship, and exclusive networking opportunities. The first year will be spent in one assigned business area, followed by a transition into a second assigned business area for the second year. This structure is designed to enhance leadership and project management skills while fostering a passion for problem-solving to support the Bank's most strategic priorities.
