Support the campus in creating and maintaining a safe, orderly, equitable, and positive learning environment Blend instructional expertise, behavioral support, and campus-level discipline coordination Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement proactive behavior strategies, manage discipline procedures, and support students with behavioral or social-emotional needs Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines—including special education and general education behavior protocols Assist the Principal in developing and maintaining a campus-wide discipline management system Monitor the implementation of student behavior plans Provide behavioral intervention support to students and staff Contribute to restorative practices, positive behavior intervention systems, and data-driven decision-making to improve school climate and student outcomes

  • Direct the work of instructional aides/paraprofessionals involved in behavioral or instructional support
  • Support the Principal in supervising staff during disciplinary processes, student supervision periods, and campus operations as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements
  • Specialized training/experience in behavior support, crisis prevention, or restorative
  • Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and classroom management
  • Knowledge of disabilities, student behavior needs, and accommodation/modification requirements
  • Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies, restorative practices, PBIS/MTSS, and de-escalation
  • Knowledge of ARD procedures, IEP implementation, and behavior plans (BIPs)
  • Ability to analyze behavioral and instructional data
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage student discipline procedures and coordinate campus programs
  • Three years of successful teaching
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience in behavior, special education, or campus leadership roles (preferred)
