About The Position
The Disciplinary Literacy Coach (DLC) at Syracuse City School District is responsible for providing instructional support and coaching to teachers in implementing literacy standards in English Language Arts and Social Studies. The DLC will work closely with educators to enhance instructional practices, analyze data, and promote best practices across all academic disciplines, ensuring that all students have equitable access to rigorous learning opportunities. This role extends beyond the school day, requiring planning and organizational tasks outside regular hours, as well as attendance at professional development sessions.
