About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field in digital marketing, preferably within nonprofit or disaster relief.
  • Experienced in digital analytics, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media management; photo and video production are essential.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, HTML, and Constant Contact, or other mass marketing platforms.
  • Strong ability to create visually compelling content, maintain consistent messaging, and analyze data for campaign improvement.
  • Exceptional written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality written, photo, and video content for web, email, and social media platforms.
  • Develop timely insider reports during disaster responses, including real-time stats and visuals.
  • Create partner reports after relief missions, highlighting partner contributions and field activities.
  • Plan, create, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns to raise awareness of disaster relief efforts.
  • Coordinate and assist in the creation of monthly and event-specific E-newsletters focused on disaster relief updates.
  • Monitor social media, website engagement, and campaign performance, utilizing data to optimize outreach.
  • Respond to daily social media interactions and prioritize marketing projects.
  • Update website content and manage bounce lists in Constant Contact and other list databases after each E-newsletter distribution.
  • Curate and post marketing items, such as 'Photo of the Week', across all social media platforms to showcase impactful visuals from recent disaster relief activities.
  • During active disaster responses, create content and execute targeted campaigns to keep supporters informed and engaged.
