About The Position

The Disaster Recovery Grant Management Consultant at Deloitte plays a crucial role in advising government and public service organizations on disaster recovery programs. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in grants management at the state, local, or federal level supporting disaster recovery programs.
• Experience in emergency management, crisis management, and business continuity.
• Knowledge of FEMA's Public Assistance Grant Program and HUD's Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V Lookups).
• 1+ year of consulting experience in state, local, or federal grants programs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 2 CFR 200 and GAAP regulations.
• Strong presentation skills for developing PowerPoints for external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advise government stakeholders on disaster recovery strategies and grant management processes.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and governance infrastructure for disaster recovery programs.
• Conduct grant risk assessments and improve grant processes and operations.
