About The Position

Lighthouse Collision Center is looking for an individual with a servant heart, a good work ethic, strong communication skills, and a high attention to detail. The ideal candidate has experience in disassembly or auto body work and is able to work in a fast-paced, active work environment, enjoys being part of a team, and completes all work in a timely manner. The Disassembly Technician assists the Body Shop Estimator and Technicians by disassembling vehicles in order to inspect for internal damage.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License.
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
One year of auto repair experience minimum.

Nice To Haves

Candidates with body shop experience preferred.
Candidates with Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow the company blueprinting process and disassembly procedures (DFR) for all vehicle inspections
Disassemble vehicles after the initial estimate.
Inspect all vehicles for internal structure and parts from the initial inspection (estimate) and identify additional damage.
Complete disassembly of the vehicle to assist estimators in assessing damage to prepare a 100% repair plan.
Document and record additional damage and required parts on a damage report (including blend panels, small parts, on-time use fasteners, moldings, etc.).
Assist other departments within the body shop upon completion of the repair, as needed.
Able to multitask and adapt easily to fast paced environments.
