Requirements

INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION:
Must have been in their current position 90 days to promote, demote, or transfer to another shift and line.
No more than 3 points at the time of job posting
No more than one write up at the time of job posting, in the last 6 months.
No suspensions at the time of job posting, in the last 6 months.
Manual dexterity required for performing job.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; steel-toed work boots, ear plugs, hair net, hard hat, beard net (if applicable), chain glove, chain sleeve, belly guard, cutting glover (knife hand), wrist guard and smock.
Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

Requires the use of knives and knife sharpening equipment.
Keep work area clean and tidy during production.
Recondition meat that has touched an unsanitary surface.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP) as specified in plant’s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Plan (HACCP).
Other duties as assigned.
Provide on-the-job training to new team members.
Manual dexterity required for performing job.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
