About The Position

SRC Automotive, Inc. is a leader in the remanufacturing of engines used in the Automotive, Marine, Natural Gas & Oil and Power Systems industries. At SRC, we do things differently. Our Disassembly Operators disassemble and clean core engines and engines parts for use in the remanufacturing process. They are essential in SRC Automotive's business operations! This is a 1st shift position working 5am to 3:30pm Monday-Thursday with mandatory overtime on Fridays and possible Saturdays.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to learn basic engine knowledge.
  • Ability to perform basic math; add and subtract numbers.
  • Ability to use hand, air, and power tools. Must be able to demonstrate ability to retrieve and comprehend written processes, and B.O.M’s.
  • Ability to frequently lift 30-50 pounds
  • As an employee-owner, you must have a teammate mentality and strong interpersonal skills. An employee-owner is proactive, upholds commitments and is continually learning.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing paced assembly line setting preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine and non-routine production duties by following written processes to disassemble core engines, engine components, or to perform assembly on subcomponent parts.
  • Responsible for the visual and quantifiable inspection of the final result of their process.
  • Identifies and sorts disassembled parts to be sent to the correct parts cleaning processes/locations
