This entry-level position is designed to support the administration of labor exchange functions within the assigned workforce region. The role will involve assisting in job search skills development and case management for disabled individuals and other identified target groups of veterans. Responsibilities include gathering and providing labor market information, conducting initial interviews with veteran applicants to veterans receiving both intensive and case management services, and performing outreach to veterans in accordance with (IAW) US Code 10, Title 38, Chapter 41. This position is expected to make decisions under the supervision of the regional Supervisor. Work in a team environment within their respective Workforce Center (WFC) or out-station location. Provided Individualized Career Services within the framework of case management to best serve eligible Veterans and ensure that their employment needs are met. It involves identifying their needs and connecting them with the right resources to help them overcome challenges and improve their overall well-being. This also includes offering support in areas such as housing, employment, education, and healthcare. The role is essential in ensuring that Veterans receive the care and assistance they need to lead fulfilling and successful lives after their military service.
