About The Position

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. CLIENT TRANSPORTATION DRIVER Full Time | M-F 8:30a-4:30p (flexibility required) Starts at $16.25/hour + potential differentials SUMMARY Provides safe transportation for clients and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions and assists in supervising clients during said functions to include physical cares and support. Ensures cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle, and may perform additional custodial and building maintenance tasks when not driving. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below: Provides safe transportation of clients and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions. May assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle and to appointments. May communicate with medical and or therapist professionals. May keep records of trips and/or behavior of passengers. Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle including refueling, oil maintenance, and the like. Maintains proper vehicle documentation, e.g., registration, inspection sticker, insurance, etc. Maintains ethical and professional standards as outlined in agency policies and abides by all statutes in conducting agency business. May perform other duties when not driving, such as custodial and maintenance tasks. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None required. Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job: Education and Experience: High School Diploma or the equivalent required Experience in similar role preferred Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Valid Driver’s License and car insurance required for at least 1 year in the state of New Jersey. Other Skills and Abilities: N/A Other Requirements: Travel as needed Physical Requirements: Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent required
  • Valid Driver’s License and car insurance required for at least 1 year in the state of New Jersey.
  • Travel as needed
  • Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
