About The Position

Adcomm MDU is seeking a skilled and dynamic DIRECTV Field Service Technician Subcontractor to join our team, specializing in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of DIRECTV services, ensuring top-notch customer experiences through troubleshooting, answering customer inquiries, and providing feedback to Adcomm MDU. As a DIRECTV Field Service Technician, you will be working both indoors and outdoors, installing and repairing DIRECTV equipment. This role requires strong independent work skills, along with exceptional customer service abilities, as you will educate customers on the features and benefits of DIRECTV services. Your goal will be to uphold DIRECTV's reputation as a premier service provider. In this position, you will deliver exceptional customer service during all phases of DIRECTV system installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades. You will install, upgrade, and repair DIRECTV products in accordance with quality standards, ensuring that all installations are completed to customer satisfaction. Testing of DIRECTV satellite dishes and indoor equipment will be performed using specialized meters and tools, and you will be responsible for replacing defective satellite dishes and equipment as needed. You will greet customers professionally and ensure installations are completed to their satisfaction. This role involves using eight-foot and twenty-eight-foot ladders for roof installations, utilizing a DIRECTV meter to peak and align satellite signals, and installing coaxial cables and setting up DIRECTV receivers. You will also perform tasks in attics, basements, and crawl spaces, which may involve bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.
