About The Position

The Director of Food & Beverage provides strategic and operational leadership across all food and beverage outlets, ensuring dynamic guest experiences, consistent service excellence, and strong financial performance. This role oversees all facets of F&B operations while balancing creativity, quality, and operational discipline to maintain elevated standards in a luxury lifestyle environment. Responsible for driving revenue growth, controlling labor and expenses, and sustaining high levels of product quality and service execution, this leader champions innovative programming, team engagement, and brand‑aligned experiences. The role actively promotes business development initiatives, develops strong leadership teams, and ensures productivity goals are met while delivering memorable dining and nightlife experiences that are unmistakably E11EVEN.

Requirements

  • A minimum of six years of progressive leadership experience in hotel food and beverage operations or a related discipline is required, or a combination of education and experience that includes a four‑year degree with at least three years of related experience, or a two‑year degree with four or more years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading food and beverage operations within a luxury or lifestyle hospitality brand is required, with a proven ability to deliver elevated dining and nightlife experiences aligned with sophisticated guest expectations.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows‑based systems and company‑approved spreadsheet and word‑processing applications is required to support operational oversight, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage production, service standards, health department regulations, sanitation practices, and all applicable liquor laws is essential.
  • The role requires flexibility to work extended and variable hours in support of dynamic, guest‑driven operations.
  • The ability to perform medium physical work is required, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required to lead teams, collaborate with executive leadership, and engage confidently with guests at all levels.
  • The ability to listen actively, interpret complex concerns, and respond with sound judgment and professionalism is essential.

  • The ability to review, interpret, and apply complex information from multiple operational and financial sources is essential to achieving performance objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Sets the standard for attentive, welcoming, and professional service by leading by example and ensuring every guest, manager, and team member interaction reflects the brand’s high‑energy luxury expectations.
  • Provides hands‑on leadership and oversight of all Food & Beverage personnel, ensuring operational alignment, accountability, and consistent execution across all outlets.
  • Responds to guest feedback and service recovery situations promptly and thoughtfully to resolve concerns and protect both guest satisfaction and brand reputation.
  • Prepares, manages, and monitors the Food & Beverage budget, forecasting performance, tracking trends, and implementing follow‑up actions to achieve financial and productivity goals.
  • Evaluates industry trends, competitive insights, and market activity to proactively evolve offerings and maintain profitable, relevant, and experience‑driven operations.
  • Partners closely with Executive Committee leadership and ownership to communicate Food & Beverage performance, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives in a transparent and timely manner.
  • Oversees all phases of loss prevention within Food & Beverage operations, ensuring controls are in place to protect assets, revenue, and inventory.
  • Ensures accurate and timely preparation and submission of all required operational, financial, and regulatory reports.
  • Leads and conducts regular departmental meetings to communicate priorities, reinforce standards, and align teams on service, safety, and financial objectives.
  • Maintains uncompromising oversight of food quality, beverage presentation, and service execution to ensure consistently high guest experiences across all outlets.
  • Collaborates with culinary and operational partners on menu planning, development, and execution, balancing creativity, guest appeal, and cost control.
  • Ensures the timely and cost‑effective procurement of food, beverage, and operating supplies within established budget parameters.
  • Oversees employee dining operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Ensures full compliance with all applicable local liquor laws, health codes, sanitation requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintains departmental compliance with all SOPs and ensures Food & Beverage leaders are fully trained on procedures, reporting standards, and technical responsibilities.
  • Leads and participates in departmental and hotel‑wide training initiatives, including CARE and One‑to‑One programs, to drive engagement, development, and service culture.
  • Interviews and selects front‑of‑house Food & Beverage leadership and management candidates in accordance with hiring standards and approval processes.
  • Participates in and supports all required meetings, including pre‑ and post‑convention or event briefings, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Champions overall guest satisfaction by aligning culinary experiences, nightlife energy, and service execution with the brand’s luxury lifestyle promise.
