About The Position
Ledyard Public Schools is currently seeking a Director of Student Services effective immediately to fill a vacancy. Ledyard Public Schools is committed to serving every student at the highest level. We are seeking an experienced administrator to lead the Department of Student Services. The department includes building based student services administrative leaders as well as dedicated student services secretarial support at each site. Reporting to the Superintendent of Schools, the Director of Student Services is a member of the Executive Team and is responsible for the system-wide operations of all student services-related programming within the district. This individual will provide strategic leadership and oversight of special education, speech/language, occupational and physical therapy, school psychology, Medicaid billing, financials for the department, student record keeping, etc. Additionally, the Director will provide support for the district's SEL and attendance initiatives, ensuring a unified vision and effective implementation to support student success.
