The Director, Diversity, Inclusion, and Employee Experience is responsible for creating and delivering a world-class workplace experience for employees across Restaurant Brands International’s (RBI) global brands: TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES®, and FIREHOUSE SUBS®. This role involves building and executing strategies that enhance diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement, while fostering a culture of belonging and high performance. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, leadership, and the People team to implement policies, programs, and initiatives that align with the organization’s values and strategic objectives. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of professional HR experience, including responsibility for employee experience and driving culture change in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience developing cross-functional talent programs and managing diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience managing and executing large-scale initiatives and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ticket management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on engagement strategies to enhance RBI’s overall employee experience.
  • Use a data-driven approach to evaluate and refine strategies; analyze employee feedback, research trends, and conduct benchmarking to identify best practices.
  • Develop and present the Employee Experience, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy to leadership, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee the Facilities teams and workplace experience across RBI’s North American corporate offices (Miami, Toronto, and Jacksonville).
  • Manage budgets for Employee Experience and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives globally and for North American corporate facilities.
  • Partner with the People team to ensure alignment of programs with company values, guiding the evolution of an integrated framework and communications strategy.
  • Solicit employee feedback to monitor well-being and inform action planning and decision-making.
  • Lead large-scale company-wide initiatives and projects focused on improving employee engagement and diversity outcomes.
