About The Position

The Director of Women's Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of departments within Women's Services at Northside Hospital. This role involves planning, administration, control, and quality management of departmental activities, ensuring that the services meet the needs of patients and support the hospital's goals.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing or BS degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.
• Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for effective management of departments within Women's Services through assigned managers or coordinators.
• Evaluates daily activities and implements operational changes to improve service levels.
• Identifies departmental needs and develops goals, objectives, and policies to meet those needs.
• Participates in hospital committees addressing operational issues.
• Develops departmental goals to support service-line or divisional objectives.
• Submits departmental capital and operating budgets for approval and monitors budget performance.
• Recruits, hires, orients, and evaluates performance of departmental personnel.
