About The Position
The Director of Women's & Children's Service Line provides strategic, administrative, and financial leadership over the Service Line. Responsibilities include strategic planning, legal and regulatory compliance, financial management, relationship development, operations, and human resource management for the assigned service line. The position may work in a matrixed management relationship with physician leaders and administrative leaders to assist in the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan and marketing strategy. The Director facilitates the planning, organization, implementation, and control of the resources needed for optimal performance of the inpatient or outpatient operations in coordination with other ministry leaders, clinicians, physicians, and other support teammates. As needed, the Director works with other system leaders to improve accessibility and coordination of care, staying current with reimbursement changes impacting the service line and adjusting services/workflows to meet these demands. The position will serve as the community-facing leader, establishing key relationships to continue to grow market share.
