About The Position

To drive and lead the operational and financial direction of Wellness and Membership Operations at our properties ensuring complete viability of wellness and membership, maximising all opportunities and resources. To ensure that the highest standards are adhered to, and that Guest & Member experience exceeds expectations and ensures member retention. To work closely with the Hotel Managers and the Dutchfield Leadership team in establishing and maintain marketing objectives, operating criteria, programming, budgeting, VIP guest visits, staff relations and training.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in wellness, sales, team leadership, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of wellness operations, revenue management, and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support sales efforts across properties.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in hotel sales or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Advanced degree in business or related field.
  • Familiarity with Wellness Software
  • Experience in managing Wellness Teams across multiple properties or regions.

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the overall management and performance of Wellness and Membership Operations, ensuring high standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance.
  • To ensure quality of service, and maintenance of the Wellness and Membership product in line with property operating standards.
  • To prepare monthly financial and statistical reports for the Hotel Manager and Dutchfield Leadership Team, incorporating proposals and recommendations regarding policy and operations, competition, occupancy and usage, market share and achievement of targets.
  • Responsible for the overall business and profitability of Wellness at our properties.
  • To develop and submit an annual budget and business plan in conjunction with the Hotel Managers and Dutchfield Leadership.
  • To liaise with the Culture & Commerce team in the preparation and development of marketing plans for the year and to coordinate all promotional plans and projects for the facilities.
  • To effectively integrate Wellness within the Marketing Strategy and to ensure ongoing representation of Wellness & Membership Operations, both internally and externally,
  • To establish and ensure a cost-effective wage structure based on productivity and efficiency.
  • To provide leadership, direction and support to the employees to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver high standards of service in all areas.
  • To ensure that good practice is applied to all issues in relation to employees and in conjunction with the HR Department, ensure that all HR policies and procedures are followed.
  • To provide an effective structure for communication within wellness at all levels
  • To develop an annual training plan, in conjunction with the HR Department and ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business.
  • To monitor standards of performance and member satisfaction and introduce measures to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.
  • To be responsible for the Health and Safety of employees and members in our wellness operations and adhere to guidelines and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Manual.
