About The Position

We have an opportunity to drive sales activities for Principal Asset Management throughout Ohio. This position partners closely with the Internal Wholesaler within territory for collective success in growing advisor relationships. Accountable for achieving sales targets and managing broker dealer relationships within all channels covering our ETF's, Separately Managed Accounts and Mutual Funds. Other responsibilities will include: Develop, recommend and implement sales plans, activity reports and rotation schedules with a focus on growing market share. May provide input on marketing, product development, shareholder/broker communications and integration of campaigns with broker dealers and fund wholesaling teams. Highest level of integrity and presentation skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required and 4+ years related industry experience with at least two of those years sales specific (sales, investment products, capital markets, partnering with advisors).
  • FINRA licensing required including SIE or equivalent, series 7 and 63
  • Significant public speaking is required
  • Proficiency is extremely important
  • Demonstrated product expertise and broad understanding of overall product portfolio required
  • Knowledge of investment products and financial markets needed
  • Travel required
