About The Position
At the Vietnamese American Service Center (VASC), staff from various County Departments and community-based organizations provide health and social services to Santa Clara County residents. The services include, but are not limited to, primary care, dental care, behavioral health care, wellness activities, and nutrition programs for seniors. As the County's onsite executive leader, the VASC Director collaborates with other County leaders to develop, implement, coordinate, and continuously improve all services at the VASC. The VASC Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining a center-wide customer-centered organizational culture so that services are responsive to the community's most pressing needs and advance the County's mission. In addition to leading on operational and strategic initiatives, the VASC Director is responsible for maintaining and strengthening positive relationships with community stakeholders.
