We continue to operate from a position of strength. Our updated growth strategy is focused on staying ahead of what our customers want and realizing further growth potential. Our relentless ambition is why McDonald’s remains one of the world’s leading corporations after almost 70 years. Joining McDonald's means thinking big and preparing for a career that can have influence around the world. At McDonald’s, we see every day as a chance to create positive impact. We lead through our values centered on inclusivity, service, integrity, community and family. From support of Ronald McDonald House Charities to our Youth Opportunity project and sustainability initiatives, our values keep us dedicated to using our scale for good: good for our customers, people, industry and planet. We also offer a broad range of outstanding benefits including a sabbatical program, tuition assistance and flexible work arrangements. The Value Realization Office (VRO) is a centrally managed, strategic capability within the Global Finance organization that partners closely with business and project leaders to create financial transparency and consistency in how we identify, track, and realize value across the portfolio of transformation programs. McDonald’s is looking for a strong Director of Value Realization to join our team in support of the Company’s strategic vision to modernize McDonald’s functions and support our global business partners. Leading a team of 6-8 individuals, the ideal candidate will provide strong financial leadership across our Finance, Global Business Service (GBS) and Transformation teams. The individual will bring experience, energy, and insight as they work within teams and across the modernization project pipelines to ensure key financial considerations and impact are well understood, clearly communicated, and closely monitored and reported on. Partnering with key Function and Transformation officers, the candidate will bridge the gap from strategic intent to financial viability in a dynamic and growing area of the Company. To ensure this is effectively managed, the Director will ensure: strategic priorities and financial resources are aligned; financial implications of proposed projects are understood up-front and as projects evolve; project savings and costs are appropriately tracked and communicated; leadership has recommendations on ways to maximize returns on investment and course correct any gaps to expectations, while still achieving key objectives, and more as outlined below.
