As a Director US Surgical Strategic Commercial Pricing supporting the US Surgical Commercial Team and their finance counterparts Team in Fort Worth. TX, a typical day will include: Strategic Leadership Develop and implement US Surgical pricing strategies aligned with US commercial goals. To include the management of the country level price list and discount logic (both on invoice and via rebates) across customer segments and product lines. Lead pricing governance and decision-making processes for new product launches, portfolio optimization, and strategic initiatives. Operational Excellence Owner of annual price increase process. Owner of OptiVision Project rollout. Owner of Margin improvement; push to correct lower margin accounts. Oversee pricing tools, systems, and analytics to ensure data-driven decision-making. Ensure pricing compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Market & Competitive Analysis Monitor market trends, competitive pricing, and reimbursement dynamics to inform pricing decisions. Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate pricing impacts. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with Sales and Marketing to align pricing strategies with go-to-market plans and customer segmentation. Work with Finance and Market Access to assess pricing implications on profitability, reimbursement, and contracting. Ensure US Price Strategy is aligned to Global Pricing frameworks and principles and ensure US requirements are integrated into Global Pricing approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 10 Years of Relevant Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of US healthcare reimbursement, GPO/IDN, Private Equity, contracting, and surgical product commercialization.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing analytics, modelling, and decision support tools.
  • Experience of leading change, across a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with Pricing Technology including SAP, CPQ, Pricing Software.
