About The Position

The Director - US, Real World Evidence and Health Outcomes for Hepatology at GSK is responsible for leading the development and execution of research strategies that demonstrate the value of late-stage development and marketed assets in the therapeutic area. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that health outcomes information supports internal decision-making during product development and commercialization. The Director will also manage budgets for multiple projects and represent the department at external meetings.

Requirements

  • MS, PharmD, PhD or other advanced Degree.
  • Experience in reimbursement and access, health economics and/or outcomes research.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry, managed care, hospital, academic or healthcare consulting environment, specifically relating to Health Outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, management, and implementation of US health outcomes strategies within assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional matrix teams to represent evidence generation needs for the US Market.
  • Effectively design and implement regional health outcomes strategies.
  • Participate in global and/or regional matrix teams to assess planning factors in development and life cycle management strategies.
  • Implement regional RWE/HO strategies to secure reimbursement and market access.
  • Plan, track, and adjust regional RWE/HO projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Assure quality of deliverables and adherence to SOPs.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of internal customer needs for RWE/HO deliverables.
  • Develop strong alignment with Field Based Payer Medical Teams to obtain insights from external customers.
  • Contribute to broader organizational change within GSK through participation in specific projects.
  • Ensure completion of required training and adherence to company SOPs.
  • Interface with cross-functional matrix teams and manage vendors in execution of RWE/HO projects.
