Our Urgent Care centers serve as a vital access point for our community — providing timely treatment, reducing emergency department utilization, and ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time. Position Overview The Director of Urgent Care provides both strategic direction and day-to-day operational leadership for two busy, community-focused care sites. This leader ensures efficient, safe, and patient-centered operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving performance excellence. The role requires strong business acumen, collaborative leadership, and a commitment to service excellence across clinical and administrative teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related discipline (required)
  • Minimum of five years of managerial or operational leadership experience
  • Experience managing day-to-day operations including finance, budgeting, and HR
  • Demonstrated success in performance improvement and team leadership
  • Patient/customer-centered mindset
  • Strong diplomacy, tact, and sound judgment
  • Ability to articulate and translate complex organizational goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership presence and team-building ability
  • Strong project management and multi-site operational oversight capability

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across two Urgent Care locations
  • Ensure efficient patient flow, staffing optimization, and high-quality care delivery
  • Maintain safe, compliant, and patient-focused environments
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics
  • Monitor productivity, throughput, and key performance indicators
  • Identify opportunities to enhance revenue cycle performance and cost efficiency
  • Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams
  • Promote accountability, engagement, and service excellence
  • Foster a culture centered on safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Champion a patient/customer-centered approach to care
  • Strengthen access to timely urgent care services in the community
  • Align site operations with organizational goals and strategic priorities
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across both locations
  • Standardize best practices and elevate performance metrics
  • Support system-wide initiatives that enhance access and quality
