About The Position

The Director of U.S. Non-Trading Market Risk Management at TD Bank is responsible for overseeing the management of interest rate and liquidity risks associated with the Bank's non-trading activities. Requirements

• 4 year degree required
• Advanced degree preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in risk management
• Familiarity with Reg YY, WW, SR 10-1, and SR 96-13
• Strong conceptual and analytical abilities
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Experience in enterprise risk management
• Knowledge of Basel credit project and Stress Testing

Responsibilities

• Oversee the US Treasury team responsible for measuring and managing the Bank's interest rate and liquidity risk.
• Act as a subject matter expert providing guidance on non-trading market risks.
• Maintain a culture of risk management and control aligned with the established risk appetite.
• Conduct independent reviews of key assumptions, model usage, and hedging effectiveness.
• Drive enterprise Risk Management reporting and dashboard functions to monitor key risk factors.
• Ensure compliance of Non-Trading Market Risk processes with US regulations.
• Liaise with business partners including Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, and Internal Auditors.
• Facilitate actions and remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues.
• Stay updated on emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements.
