About The Position

TRIA is looking to hire a Director to oversee the same day surgery centers and to join our surgery center team! Position Summary: The Same Day Surgery Center Director oversees all aspects of the said surgery centers (Operating Room, Pre/Post-op and PACU, Anesthesia Services, Biomedical Equipment, Accreditation Standards). The Director has financial management and staffing responsibilities. This role is responsible for creating collaboration within the surgery centers and other aspects of the organization. The Director creates positive and effective relationships with clinicians and works closely with administrative, clinical and physician leaders to achieve goals and objectives. Engages leaders, staff and physicians in process and clinical improvements to ensure that patient care practices are consistent with internal and external policies, standards, and contracts. In addition, this role will have responsibility for the following: Provide deliberate “on-site presence.” Global rounding and leadership for the three same day surgery centers Administrative point of contact for managers and medical staff at the same day centers Take the lead in cultivating and tending to: Desired culture at the three locations, with a deliberate focus on patient experience Overall teamwork & collaboration among the three same day centers Address elevated patient complaints for the three surgery centers. Assure that the surgery centers receive appropriate support services overall and that clinical and support services are well coordinated. Take accountability for how the campus “presents” to patients and guests – with a focus on facilities, housekeeping and security. Assures that functions and departments are working well together. Take the lead in identifying macro capital and facilities planning needs for the three centers. Build collaborative relationships with leaders across the HP/PN Care group.

Requirements

  • Nursing Degree. If nursing diploma, then a Bachelor’s in a related field required.
  • 10+ years of nursing experience required and 5+ years of leadership experience required.
  • Current MN RN license BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer/laptop with knowledge of basic office applications, electronic medical record, office equipment and presentation equipment.
