In this role, you will primarily focus on ensuring that oncology programs are using appropriate imaging techniques from early clinical through registration phases of development, which entails directly working with cross functional teams within the drug development process. The Director of Translation Imaging will enable preclinical and clinical teams by scouting and incorporating state-of-the-art imaging strategies and suggesting (emerging) imaging approaches and techniques that will aid the development of new drugs, with a particular focus on radioligand therapies.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD or MD/PhD) or imaging scientist (PhD) trained in radiology, nuclear medicine, imaging physics or image analysis including some industry experience, OR b) a Master's degree trained in radiology, nuclear medicine, imaging physics or image analysis including industry experience in Clinical Imaging OR c) a Bachelors’ degree trained in radiology, nuclear medicine, imaging physics or image analysis including significant industry experience
  • Proven track record of research and/or development (including oncology applications with emphasis on radiological and /or PET/SPECT imaging and biomarker use) with a focus on radiopharmaceuticals
  • Experience with clinical and preclinical imaging in oncology drug development (PET, SPECT, CT, bioluminescence, MRI…)
  • Thorough understanding of imaging and clinical development in oncology; including experience with regulatory framework for biomarkers, and use of imaging for registration of Oncology products. Experience managing imaging CROs
  • Outstanding scientific reputation as evidenced by multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and as speaker of conferences and strong network in the academic and clinical community of imaging specialties (mandatory) and of Oncology (preferred)
