About The Position

The Director, Transformation Office Strategy and Operations is responsible for all aspects of strategy development and execution for Fortune Brands Innovations' company-wide organizational transformation. This position will serve as a change management champion and a strategic thought leader, working closely with senior leaders and the Transformation Office team to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned to enable the execution of our transformation goals and strategy. The Director, Transformation Office will help drive speed and agility in decision making, remove barriers to progress, and accelerate stronger integration across business units and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy and/or experience in a top-tier management consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client engagements, deliver strategic insights, and work in fast-paced, high-performance teams.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional transformations required.
  • Experience with post-acquisition integration and/or best practice sharing / capability building is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Transformation Office team and company leaders to lead a range of strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage to a transformation roadmap, ensuring achievement of short-term project milestones and long-term goals within specified timeline.
  • Support complex project design and implementation, navigating the organizational matrix and aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to the business teams on certain transformation initiatives and take the lead in others.
  • Scope, plan, and structure the work, and gain alignment with the business unit leaders on timeline and implications.
  • Understand unique business unit needs to identify best ways of implementing change across the organization.
  • Prepare and present, for approval and funding, development initiative proposals to senior management.
  • Provide oversight and direction of team within the Transformation Office including coaching, mentoring and developing staff and providing career development opportunities.
