About The Position

The Director is responsible for the achievement, maintenance, and continuous improvement of company-wide certifications and alignment to industry standards supporting Federal and Commercial service offerings. This role requires deep expertise in compliance requirements, service delivery models, and security best practices. In addition, the Director leads the strategy, design, implementation and governance of enterprise training and development programs, including the creation and maintenance of role-based and compliance-driven courses that support workforce readiness, professional growth, and organizational maturity. The Director oversees regulatory requirements necessary for company operations, including the planning and execution of internal and external audits. Working closely with executive and operational leaders, the Director ensures timely validation and completion of corrective and preventive actions, driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintains strong in-depth of knowledge in multiple compliance frameworks applicable to the federal government and commercial market
  • Oversees timely completion of internal and external audits to assess organizational alignment to required and selected requirements
  • Ensures continual process improvement is being implemented across the organization
  • Defines and executes the organizational training and learning development strategy aligned to compliance, security, and business objectives
  • Leads the design, development, and delivery of training programs, including compliance, security awareness, role-based, and professional development courses
  • Establishes and maintains a structured learning curriculum supporting onboarding, certification readiness, and ongoing workforce development
  • Ensures training programs align with regulatory requirements and audit expectations, maintaining appropriate documentation and evidence of completion
  • Partners with internal leaders to identify skills gaps and develop targeted learning initiatives to improve performance and maturity
  • Measures and reports on training effectiveness and participation to drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes
  • Provides guidance and governance for external training vendors, platforms, and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Manages and maintains the company Process Asset Library (PAL)
  • Manages the certification renewal process for all industry-required certifications (ISO, FedRAMP, HITRUST, CMMC, CMMI, etc.)
  • Provides mentorship and coaching to team members
  • Supports recruiting activities as necessary
