The Impact you will have in this role: The Test Engineering Director will oversee and execute integration and validation efforts across FICC applications and their upstream and downstream systems. The Enterprise Test Engineering (ETE) group is responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems adhere to defined quality standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining data integrity, functional accuracy, and operational readiness throughout the full trade lifecycle. The Director will lead an end-to-end testing team and work closely with cross-functional partners to coordinate business cycle runs, support performance and resiliency testing, and validate readiness for client-facing environments. Responsibilities include developing, conducting, and evaluating testing processes while collaborating with developers to remediate system defects. The position requires deep expertise in automated testing tools and quality assurance methodologies, including the creation of reusable, foundational test automation frameworks for the organization. The Test Engineering function provides centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, encompassing both functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications. The Director will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, offering testing expertise, oversight, and strategic direction to ensure solutions meet design specifications and deliver intended functionality.
