About The Position

The Director of Telematics Product Management is responsible for driving value realization through collaboration with department stakeholders, ensuring external communication with relevant railroad parties, and serving as the primary interface with partners to propagate the adoption of mesh hardware. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on product management expertise to deliver innovative telematics solutions that align with organizational goals and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management and value creation.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (Charlotte-based)

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Experience in telematics or transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of mesh networking technologies and commercial hardware sales.

  • Champion digital security and enforce best practices across telematics systems.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
