About The Position

A clinical leader who oversees the provision of resources across all environments where telemedicine and related strategies are deployed. The incumbent will lead initiatives in hospital, ambulatory, and remote care settings as a key part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The Director must collaborate with senior leadership to secure alignment, support, and engagement, advancing initiatives while meeting clinical quality and operational priorities. This role requires a clinical leader with demonstrated experience in program development, from early concepts through full implementation. The position also demands strong professional confidence, functioning as a largely independent and self-directed contributor, as well as effective process and change leader. In partnership with clinical, technical, and senior leadership, the Director will drive the execution of strategic initiatives aimed at achieving key performance indicators that promote adoption, reduce costs, and increase revenue opportunities for Jefferson Health. The incumbent must be able to define, prioritize, and achieve goals with a strong focus on measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree: Nursing, Health Admin, MBA) (Urgent / Emergency Care or Nursing/Healthcare Administration required.)
  • Registered Nurse ( PA/NJ/DE)
  • Five to Seven (5-7) years Healthcare/Medical - Nursing General
  • Demonstrated success in developing business strategy, critical decision making and leading business operations.
  • Proven success in building and mentoring effective leadership teams and demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Able to excel in a high powered, fast paced, high growth environment.
  • Strong quantitative skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex financial and medical care utilization data.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, and implements strategies to optimize processes, services, and system-wide performance.
  • Provides vision, direction, and goals in support of telehealth initiatives overseeing business performance
  • Leads care-coordination integration efforts and supports the development of a unified, efficient model of health care coordination across the system; collaborates closely with the Enterprise VP of Connected Care Operations to execute integrated system capabilities.
  • Drives clinical operational excellence and adoption by influencing stakeholders, refining workflows, and holding teams accountable for defined deliverables.
  • Develop standardized and specialty-specific methodologies and tools to assess clinical adoption of strategic initiatives and support operational priorities across specialty areas.
  • Responsible for leading a variety of teams and team members to achieve standardization and adoption.
  • Design and implement a “secret shopper” program to ensure clinical continuity impacting patient experience.
  • Coordinates timely communication of quality-management updates and initiatives to key governance bodies, including Telehealth Guiding Team and other committee structures as identified.
  • Integrates internal and external benchmark data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and refines simulation visit workflows and training modules to support provider readiness and reduce variations in practice.
  • Drives quality assurance standards across the provider organization; organizes interdisciplinary meetings with clinical and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Schedules interdisciplinary meetings with medical and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
  • Serve as a resource for interpreting policies, standards, and guidelines and applying them to operational workflows.
  • Facilitates improvement initiatives using the PDSA cycle and other performance-improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborates with the telehealth project management team to execute initiatives and achieve measurable results.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analytics to align data insights with program goals, performance indicators, and strategic initiatives.
  • Participates and supports clinical trials related to telehealth programs, technologies, and outcomes.
  • Develops and delivers quality-related presentations to departmental, hospital, and system-level audiences; prepares written performance reports and presentations for the Senior Vice President for Healthcare Innovation Delivery and the VP, for Connected care Operations.
