About The Position

This role provides a unique opportunity to lead enterprise healthcare technology programs with a focus on patient-facing digital experiences. As the Technology Director, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Epic systems, particularly MyChart applications, FHIR APIs, and digital front door initiatives. You will guide integration strategies, advise on architecture, and support large-scale digital transformation projects across healthcare organizations. The position requires close collaboration with clients, cross-functional teams, and internal strategy leaders to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry regulations. Success in this role will directly impact the efficiency, accessibility, and quality of digital healthcare platforms. The role is full-time, remote, and requires availability during the specified contract period.

Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare technology environments, including hospitals, health systems, or healthcare platforms.
• Deep expertise with Epic MyChart integrations and related Epic applications.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and PHI handling requirements.
• Experience delivering enterprise-level digital strategy programs in healthcare.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and advisory skills at executive levels.
• Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Contentstack, Optimizely, Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager).
• Knowledge of multi-channel web delivery ecosystems and digital front door strategies.
• Must be fully available for the contract period and based in EST or CST time zones.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Epic Subject Matter Expert, advising on MyChart, Provider Finder, FHIR APIs, and related patient-facing systems.
• Lead technical integration strategy, defining best practices for digital healthcare ecosystems.
• Provide architectural guidance for patient portals and multi-channel digital front door initiatives.
• Support enterprise-scale digital transformation programs, ensuring HIPAA-compliant, secure, and scalable implementations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to evaluate architectures, integration patterns, and platform strategies.
• Stay current on Epic roadmap updates, advising stakeholders on feature impacts and opportunities.
• Contribute to MarTech and CMS stack strategy, supporting discovery, planning, and execution phases.
