Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 10+ years of accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and industry experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading teams and managing client relationships in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Strong experience with full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting, A/P, A/R, and reconciliations, in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Experience working with or supporting technology companies (e.g., SaaS, software, or high-growth environments)

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CMA license
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting systems and large-scale system implementations or conversions
  • Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in technology environments (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide strategic direction to a team (pod) of Senior Managers, Managers, and staff across multiple client engagements
  • Oversee and drive delivery of technology-focused accounting and finance outsourcing services, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and efficiency
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, particularly within the technology sector, on accounting operations, systems, and financial management
  • Provide subject matter expertise in technology industry accounting, including revenue recognition, SaaS metrics, and system integrations
  • Provide technical expertise on U.S. GAAP requirements, with a focus on complex and evolving areas relevant to technology companies
  • Lead the development, optimization, and implementation of accounting systems and processes to support high-growth, tech-enabled clients
  • Perform high-level reviews of financial statements and supporting schedules, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Act as a primary liaison between clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery
  • Drive business development efforts, including participating in prospect meetings, scoping engagements, and contributing to pricing and proposals
  • Oversee onboarding of new clients, including resource planning, process design, and team alignment
  • Mentor and develop team members, including Senior Managers and Managers, fostering leadership growth and performance excellence
