We are looking for a Director of Technical Program Management who will be responsible for development and execution on our most critical initiatives in the Enterprise and Agentic AI space at Instacart. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our product strategy. This involves extensive collaboration with VPs of Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Business Development, and other cross-functional (XFN) partners. Key responsibilities include evolving our Enterprise platform to effectively meet retailer needs, building a comprehensive AI solutions portfolio for our retailers, and optimizing end-to-end operations for the seamless onboarding of key retailers. Furthermore, you will be responsible for growing and leading a team of Technical Program Managers focused on delivering highly impactful, cross-functional initiatives. As a business-oriented leader with a strong technical and program management track record, you are able to drive roadmaps and high-level strategy, but are also comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting. You are influential, intellectually curious and an effective communicator, skilled at managing ambiguity and leading teams through complex initiatives. In this position, you will support and recruit talented TPMs at all levels, drive accountability & progress across the cross-functional team, and use a strong understanding of the technical domain, product focus, organizational structure, and team culture to drive to excellence in delivery.
