About The Position

The Director, TCAW Pharmacy and Operations is solely responsible for the creation, development, implementation, and viability of strategy surrounding TCAW pharmacy dispensing and Disease State Management services. This role is also responsible for the creation, development, implementation, and viability of all service lines administered and sold through TCAW. This includes but is not limited to Occupational Health, Employee Assistance, Onsite/Near-site/Shared-site Clinics, Wellness, Analytics, Sales, and Finance. This role ensures operational excellence, efficiency, strategic direction, as well as regulatory compliance with all governing agencies for services rendered.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy
  • Minimum 8 years of leadership experience
  • 340B Apexus Certified Expert (or within 6 months of hire)
  • BLS Certified
  • Immunizer Licensure
  • State of Wisconsin pharmacist Licensure

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all pharmacy operational workflows, and pharmacy regulatory compliance with governing agencies (FDA, DEA, BOP, OIG, etc.)
  • Responsible for the operational and financial performance of ThedaCare At Work.
  • Directs projects and analyzes data to support evidence-based decision-making regarding product line development, fee code pricing and analysis, profitability/ROI, financial forecasting/budgeting, and monitoring, facilities planning and maintenance, software systems, employer client relations, and vendor relations.
  • Develop and maintain overall labor plan (productivity measures, staff), meeting business needs and productivity.
  • Directs creation of TCAW strategic plan, intervening as appropriate to ensure goals are on track, and team is knowledgeable and accountable for respective goals (Direct-to-Employer), resulting in long-term and deep client relationships.
  • Aligns strategic sales plan with ThedaCare's mission, vision, and goals to create focus on the customer, ensuring that measured requirements for quality, service, and value are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with key leadership stakeholders designing employee prescription/non-prescription benefits, driving cost/utilization containment and resulting in high quality financially sustainable models for the future.
  • Execute system initiatives related to direct patient care, standard operating procedures, formulary management, and transitions of care partnership.
  • Facilitate and direct contract negotiations with both clients and vendors.
  • Represent service line in committees and meetings, actively promoting department practice and collaboration.
  • Promotes culture of safety and continuous quality improvement by identifying safety, quality and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure opportunities are identified, communicated on, addressed, and improved.
