About The Position
Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. The Director, Tax will be responsible for the ownership and execution over certain elements of our tax accounting, reporting and compliance processes through the impending years of growth and scaling of the organization. Our tax accounting, reporting and compliance matters are critical to our business and require substantial focus and demonstrated expertise. The ideal candidate is one who has a strong partnership and collaboration mindset, brings demonstrated technical expertise and is driven to help the organization solve problems and enable growth in a variety of areas, sometimes without similar precedents. The position will report to the Executive Director, Finance and will work closely with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders. The position will be an individual contributor initially with the possibility of building a team as the company approaches commercialization/profitability and/or further expansion.
