We are seeking an accomplished Director to join our Tax Managed services team. This individual will play a strategic leadership role in serving private equity and alternative investment clients. The Director will provide high-level technical expertise, oversee multiple projects, drive business growth, and maintain impactful executive-level client relations. This role offers the chance to engage directly with clients, providing tailored solutions and serving as a trusted advisor, securing alignment between client goals and our service offerings.

  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality, effectiveness, and alignment with client needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions and guiding clients on fund formation, structuring, transactions, and cross-border tax matters.
  • Anticipate emerging tax issues, communicate their implications proactively, and design innovative strategies to optimize outcomes for funds, investors, and portfolio companies.
  • Manage complex technical reviews, resolving intricate tax returns and issues for partnerships and corporations in private equity and alternative investment sectors.
  • Collaborate with leadership, driving growth initiatives, expanding client relationships, and fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax, with a Master’s or JD preferred, and hold a CPA or equivalent credential.
  • 12+ years of US tax consulting and compliance experience, primarily in public accounting or a similar advisory environment, with deep expertise in alternative investments.
  • At least 4 years in a leadership role, managing client relationships, high-performing teams, and driving business development initiatives.
  • Excel in communication, presentation, and leadership, enabling you to build long-term client relationships and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%, depending on location, to meet client and business needs.
