About The Position

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of direct experience in talent management or a related area.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent project management skills and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience in change management processes.
  • Familiarity with talent analytics tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive talent management strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead the development and implementation of performance management systems that drive accountability and growth.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential talent, creating developmental opportunities and succession plans.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and retention through initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • Leverage talent analytics to assess performance and inform decision-making related to talent management.
  • Partner with senior leaders to align talent strategies with organizational needs and long-term goals.
  • Evaluate and improve talent processes and programs for efficiency and impact.
  • Champion DEI initiatives within talent practices to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Support the organization through periods of change by managing talent transitions and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with Macy's Talent Center to ensure alignment of strategies and technologies across the organization.
  • Stay informed on industry talent performance trends and best practices.
