About The Position

Eaton’s Electrical Sector Americas group (ES-A) is currently hiring for a Director, Talent Management & Organization Effectiveness (TMOE). This position can be based at the following Eaton locations: Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, Raleigh NC or Milwaukee WI. Relocation within hiring country is offered. Position Overview: Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, Electrical Sector Americas (ESA), the Director, TMOE serves as the lead functional advisor for the region. The role drives enterprise-impact talent and organizational effectiveness initiatives, leading the design and execution of the regional talent strategy supporting more than 30,000 employees across 15 countries. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, the Director provides strategic leadership and hands-on execution across TM&OE disciplines, translating business priorities into scalable, data-driven talent solutions aligned with enterprise frameworks and regional needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum ten (10) years experience in Organizational Development and/or Human Resources with direct experience in talent management.
  • Experience in global matrixed environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive business results through the execution of the ESA talent management and organizational effectiveness strategy, ensuring strong alignment with business priorities and enterprise frameworks.
  • Collaborate across HR and the Eaton enterprise to design, deploy, and continuously improve talent management processes that optimize organizational capability and performance.
  • Leverage the scale and influence of the role to act as a thought leader, shaping enterprise-wide decisions related to talent, leadership, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Own and lead succession management practices across ESA, including talent reviews and Eaton’s annual Organization Capability Assessment (OCA) process.
  • Measure, track, and report progress against talent outcomes, including development plans and actions tied to specific leadership and talent development programs.
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within the talent pipeline and recommend targeted actions.
  • Define, design, and deploy leadership development solutions that support Eaton’s vision, aspirational goals, leadership attributes, and brand promise.
  • Implement strategies to build organizational capability through development planning activities, including targeted assignments, planned career moves, experiential learning, special projects, executive coaching, and structured development programs.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in performance and development practices, including goal setting, talent assessment, coaching, and feedback.
  • Champion practices that enhance individual and organizational performance, embedding a culture of accountability, development, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct organizational assessments and diagnostics to identify leader, team, and organizational development needs; determine root causes and implement solutions to improve effectiveness, engagement, and performance.
  • Act as an internal consultant and trusted advisor for Organization Assessment and Design (OAD) initiatives across the region.
  • Apply organization change management (OCM) principles and methodologies to support transformation initiatives, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within scope.
  • Lead the ESA diversity and inclusion strategy, embedding inclusive leadership and management practices across the region.
  • Drive employee listening initiatives and translate insights into actions that strengthen engagement, leadership effectiveness, and organizational health.
  • Translate insights from employee feedback into actionable strategies that improve engagement, leadership effectiveness, and organizational health.
