Job Duties Responsibilites Leads Talent Acquisition ensuring that the talent acquisition strategies support BNBMC’s strategic plan by producing qualified human capital in timely and cost efficient ways: clinical staff, support services, and administrative staffing; temporary staffing; operational processes; supporting systems; and compliance. Develops and implements workforce plans, forecasting capabilities, and a talent pipeline strategy Implements best practices for internal referral, college recruitment, and social media recruitment programs. Partners with NBMC leadership in the design of strategic and tactical and talent acquisition initiatives through effective planning and operational management. Partners with NBMC leadership on sourcing, selection systems, onboarding, employee relations and compliance, retention, HR technology, and workforce analytics. Directs the management of the day-to-day operational and personnel activities of the talent acquisition function to ensure high quality, cost effective service/outcomes, and efficient work environment. Continuously improves processes and systems to meet organizational needs. Inspires recruiters to serve as brand amabassadors on behalf of the BNBMC mission and leads the team through issue resolution in order to streamline both daily work and strategic outcomes. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, BNBMC, departmental, and unit standards and policies. Manages compliance of employment requirements to ensure diverse and inclusive hiring practices as well as compliance with union contracts. Manages employer branding/value proposition, innovative candidate sourcing strategies, and selection systems. Build a data-driven recruiting organization, including analytics that provide insight and decision support. Ensure optimal quality, cost, and service outcomes through operational metrics. Deliver interview and selection skills training across the company to ensure we hire the best fit. Role models customer service including respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Customer Service Performance expectations. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Assesses gaps in policies and procedures, and create necessary policies and procedures to fulfill these gaps. Understands and adheres to the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct. Familiar with the Medical Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values Statements. OTHER JOB DUTIES Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the department and organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience with a broad knowledge of all facets of organizational and talent acquisition & development (Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Succession Planning, etc.).
  • Strong experience in workforce planning, forecasting and developing, resource.
  • Experience in creating a healthy employment brand by leveraging social media, marketing and other platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases
  • Demonstrated experience, with proven outcomes, designing organizational strategies that supported business strategies and goals. Experience creating and communicating a forward thinking vision that aligned with business strategy.
  • Ability to design sourcing and selection systems and make decisions around integration of current systems with processes.
  • Fast-paced, results-oriented, self-starter who enjoys leading a team
  • Ability to direct staff in staffing planning activities and tracking outcome metrics.
  • Computer skills and ability to work desktop system.
  • Ability to make daily decisions of acceptability and appropriateness of hiring decisions and to communicate effectively with hiring managers and staff regarding processes and outcomes.
  • Knowledge of advanced web searching skills and a proven track record of implementing sourcing programs for both active and passive candidates
  • Experience in leadership, strategy, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative, coaching, relationship building, conflict management, and change management skills. Experience selecting and evaluating effectiveness of external vendors.
  • Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Mainly sedentary but mobility required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Human Resources Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Experience in a union environment preferred
  • Healthcare recruiting experience highly desirable.
