About The Position

We are seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to build and lead the recruitment strategy for our Federal Practice. This leader will manage a team of Talent Partners driving Workday’s Talent Acquisition vision within the Federal Government sector. This role will manage and lead a growing Talent Acquisition team while focusing on implementing innovative, design-led, transformative talent acquisition practices. Requirements

  • Successfully led, developed, and grown a team of high performing TAs at a fast-growth dynamic organization across countries and cultures.
  • Act as a key strategic partner to HR Centers of Excellence, collaborating with Talent Marketing, Ops, and Analytics to synchronize recruitment branding and data-driven insights with global business objectives
  • Experience in workforce planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships and lines of communication across Workday’s functional leadership with a focus on partnering for aligned outcomes as it relates to talent acquisition strategy.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Expertise in generating and analyzing accurate metrics that can be used when reporting to both TA and Business leadership.
  • Drive TA strategy through a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. federal market, ensuring all recruitment marketing and operational workflows align with federal employment laws and government-specific business cultures.

Nice To Haves

  • You are currently or have recently led a Talent Acquisition team in the Technical, Customer and Global Revenue through a period of significant growth, with experience in leading during hyper growth preferred.
  • As a people leader, you recognize the importance of building collaborative relationships with other TA Leaders, key internal stakeholders in the business, and cross-functional partners such as HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, Belonging + Diversity, and Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness.
  • You're able to speak to specific examples of how you can build collaborative partnerships with Operations and Finance functions to manage HC budgets, forecasts, and reporting, as well as to proactively manage TA capacity planning against hiring demand.
  • Know where to uncover opportunities to build and drive creative networking efforts through a variety of channels and resources including the Workday product, building talent communities through social talent outreach.
