About The Position

The Director in TA Treasury Operations will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide money movement processes supporting shareholder and client activity. This role ensures operational excellence across payment rails, including SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, and emerging payment technologies. The Director will lead a high-performing team, manage key banking relationships, and drive initiatives that enhance the customer experience, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies. You will collaborate with other teams within Fidelity Funds and Investment Operations (FFIO) and business associates across the firm and will interact with senior members of FFIO’s organizations with a high degree of autonomy. The TA Treasury Operations Team is part of the Fund Operations division within Fidelity's Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) business unit. The Fund Operations division provides back office operational support to Fidelity Retail and Institutional products, including books and records maintenance, securities' pricing, fund and security level performance analysis, financial reporting and tax work. The Alternative Accounting Team provides operational support for as well as performs the daily, monthly and quarterly pricing and bookkeeping for Fidelity’s alternative and digital products as well as the ETF funds within FFIO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CTP) preferred
  • Subject matter expert in treasury, banking, or investment operations, with a strong focus on money movement and payment systems
  • Deep understanding of domestic and international payment rails, including SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, and ACH
  • Proven experience managing audits, risk controls, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and treasury systems
  • Outstanding analytical, conceptual thinking, project management, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong collaborative spirit and team-focused approach
  • Skilled in synthesizing sophisticated information into logical and easy-to-understand presentations for diverse audiences
  • Lead dialogue with key partners and offer well-reasoned recommendations to advise decision-making
  • Encourage and empower others, while building key partnerships
  • Strategic problem solver, who has a focus on innovation and driving results
