The Impact you will have in this role: Owns end‑to‑end technical integration and design leadership across machine‑to‑machine middleware services supporting enterprise modernization initiatives such as Client Interfaces Modernization and Ground‑to‑Cloud . Serves as the unifying technical lead ensuring architectural consistency, integration correctness, and coordinated delivery across distributed middleware platforms and squads. This role is focused exclusively on system‑to‑system connectivity and integration layers , not human‑facing or UI‑driven platforms.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Acts as the technical unifier across machine‑to‑machine middleware , rather than a platform‑specific lead
  • Works in close partnership with program, delivery, and portfolio leadership responsible for orchestration and execution
  • Does not function as IT Architecture governance (e.g., ITA or ARB ownership), but ensures solutions align with approved enterprise architecture standards and patterns

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end technical execution scope across major enterprise initiatives , including Client Interfaces Modernization and Ground‑to‑Cloud , as they relate to machine‑to‑machine middleware services
  • Serve as the primary technical integration lead for middleware platforms including messaging, event streaming, file transfer, APIs, and edge connectivity
  • Lead and resolve cross‑platform and cross‑squad technical design challenges
  • Ensure architectural consistency, integration integrity, and standards adherence across all machine‑to‑machine middleware implementations
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Delivery Solutions (EDS), EPMO, and program and delivery leadership to align middleware execution timelines with application and business roadmaps
  • Drive outcomes from intra‑team and cross‑team technical design forums
  • Provide technical guidance and integration oversight to delivery teams without direct people management
