Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR- SYSTEM ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS & DEVELOPMENT to join our HUMAN RESOURCES team! The Director - System Organizational Effectiveness & Development role has system-wide responsibility for Aspirus learning and development programs and serves as a consultant to learning leaders and professionals across the system. Provides leadership for and directs the activities of organizational effectiveness, leadership training and development for management (direct responsibility), and physicians (in collaboration with Medical Group Leadership) responsible for developing a system-wide succession planning process for leadership at all levels; introduces and integrates effective change management skills within the organization; supports and provides guidance for the development of a positive culture within Aspirus which fosters excellence in care and service; consult with leaders regarding organizational design; provides guidance to leaders across the organization in building effective teams.

  • Lead and direct organizational effectiveness and leadership training and development activities.
  • Consult with learning leaders and professionals across the system.
  • Develop a system-wide succession planning process for leadership at all levels.
  • Introduce and integrate effective change management skills within the organization.
  • Support and guide the development of a positive culture within Aspirus.
  • Consult with leaders regarding organizational design.
  • Provide guidance to leaders in building effective teams.
  • Master's degree in Adult Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Five to seven years of leadership/management experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience with learning technologies (Learning Management and HRIS systems).
  • Experience in project management and implementing programs across a wide employee base and multiple locations.
  • Experience scaling processes and identifying when processes need to be improved.
  • Understanding of organizational design principles.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to see the big picture over time spans of 1 to 5 years.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong technology skills and experience.
  • Experience in healthcare educational services and adult learning principles.
  • Strong skills in coaching and developing others.
  • Experience in leading change and continuous improvement.
